About Ron Vargas
Ron, is a Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo graduate, where he took horseshoeing classes and worked his way through college.
Once finished, he started shoeing horses, which helped put him through his last years of college.
Upon graduation he went on to have a small horseshoeing business.
After graduating, Ron continued shoeing his own horses, along with many of his friends.
Today, he transforms worn horseshoes into unique pieces of art that celebrate our ranching traditions.
Each creation carries the authentic spirit of Ron’s rich history in horseshoeing and living the life of a small cattle rancher with a life-long career as a Farm Advisor at the UC Cooperative Extension in Madera County.
Every piece is handcrafted with the same dedication that defines the ranching way of life.
Whether you’re a fellow rancher or someone who appreciates the rugged beauty of Western craftsmanship, Ron is proud to share these custom pieces that bring a touch of ranch living into your home or business.
